Unveiling Coco Game, an astounding range of pieces devoted to play, the Chanel Watchmaking Creation Studio in La Chaux-de-Fonds created an intricate universe where Coco Chanel herself is queen, and time her subject. Reigning over a kingdom where the pixellated charm of the J12 Coco Game sits beside playing card and domino-inspired timepieces, the centre of this theatre of elegance is undoubtedly the Chessboard pièce unique, where two miniature Cocos rendered in white gold, diamonds and black and white ceramic duke it out to become queen of the board.Sculpted as a jewel in its own right, featuring ceramic, obsidian, white gold and lined with diamonds, the chessboard is populated by 32 similarly precious miniature objets d’art. Lions, couture busts and the iconic Vendôme column emerge, each piece a tribute to the House’s mythology.
