As the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics gets underway, OMEGA has opened a refined home away from the stadiums, the inaugural House Milano. For the first time in Olympic history, the Swiss watchmaker is hosting a dedicated brand residence during the Games, offering an elegant social hub in the centre of Milan.
Inside OMEGA House Milano: The Brand’s First Winter Olympic Salon
Set within the storied Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, OMEGA House occupies the celebrated Ristorante Cracco, run by the brand’s friend and acclaimed chef Carlo Cracco. The location is as much a part of the experience as the hospitality itself, as beneath the arcade’s glass dome and intricate ironwork, guests arrive through one of Milan’s most recognisable architectural landmarks.
The concept builds on the success of OMEGA House at previous Summer Games, including in London, Rio, and Paris, where the invitation-only space became a gathering point for athletes, celebrities, and international guests. For Milan, the brand has introduced its first winter edition that’s informed by the city’s rich culture of design, cuisine, and social life.
As for the salons look, guests can expect classical Italian refinement and OMEGA’s modern aesthetic. The ground-floor café has been reimagined as the “OMEGA Café by Cracco”, carrying brand accents while continuing to operate with the same culinary finesse and attentive service for which the establishment is known.
Above, the first and second floors have become an Olympic retreat, where invited members can relax between events, enjoy refined dining, or follow the competitions live on screen. “It’s a great honour for me to host OMEGA House inside my spaces in the Galleria,” says Carlo Cracco. “It’s a brand that, like us, believes in the value of time, precision, and the constant pursuit of excellence.”
As evening falls, the house becomes a stage for intimate gatherings, themed celebrations and appearances by OMEGA’s circle of ambassadors and friends; past editions have welcomed the likes of Nicole Kidman, Daniel Craig, Cindy Crawford, and Olympic champions including Michael Phelps.
“With the growing popularity of OMEGA House at the Olympic Games, we were determined to bring that same enjoyment and exclusivity to Milano,” says Raynald Aeschlimann, President and CEO of OMEGA. “It’s our very first winter edition, and the location and atmosphere offer a rich and genuine Italian touch.”
The initiative highlights a relationship that spans nearly a century, with Milano Cortina 2026 marking OMEGA’s 32nd turn as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games — a role it’s held since 1932. Open until 21 February, OMEGA House Milano offers a discreet, cultured refuge where time is measured with both precision and pleasure, to a backdrop of legacy.
