TikTok Introduces AI Shopping Assistant and One-Click Checkout

TikTok is expanding its e-commerce capabilities with a new AI-powered Shopping Assistant and a one-click checkout feature. The assistant provides personalised product recommendations and real-time information on sizing, shipping and availability, while the new checkout allows users to purchase products directly from the For You feed. Developed with partners including Shopify, Salesforce and Stripe, these features aim to simplify the shopping journey, keep users within the app and strengthen TikTok’s position in social commerce.
