Airbnb Now Lets You Book More Than Just a Place to Stay

From celebrity experiences to private chefs, the redesigned app puts everything in one seamless trip plan

On Tuesday, Airbnb rolled out a major update that goes well beyond just booking places to stay. Now live globally, Airbnb users can book professional services, from private chefs to massages and even haircuts, right from the app. The new Airbnb Services feature includes 10 categories at launch, with offerings vetted for quality and experience, many starting under $50. These services are available in 260 cities, whether you're staying in an Airbnb or not.

The company also relaunched Airbnb Experiences, which is a lineup of curated activities in 650 cities. Experiences range from food and gallery tours to celebrity-hosted events. Alongside these updates, Airbnb unveiled a rebuilt app designed to integrate homes, services, and experiences into one itinerary, with smarter recommendations and an upgraded interface for guests and hosts.
