With its shimmering colored stones, Louis Vuitton's latest high jewelry collection sparkled in Spain.

Last spring, Louis Vuitton Jewelry hosted a rendezvous in the heart of the majestic ruins of Castell de Bellver in Mallorca. The French house unveiled its new high jewelry collection, Virtuosity . In this 14th-century medieval setting, under the sunset light, models dressed in creations by Nicolas Ghesquière , the artistic director of fashion, displayed the 110 unique pieces from the collection.

A sumptuous score
This opus explores two intimately linked worlds: that of know-how and that of creativity, revisited through the house's emblematic codes. The former is revealed in the necklaces that fluidly follow the body's contours, while art is expressed in the subtle dialogue between rare stones and bold settings. Louis Vuitton's aesthetic signatures are reflected in the details, sometimes discreet, sometimes dazzling.

One of the necklaces showcases the triangle, an ancient symbol of knowledge and the house's signature shape, reminiscent of the angular corners of iconic trunks. Suspended from a row of emeralds, a 30.56-carat triangular-cut Australian black opal sits atop a 28.01-carat pear-shaped emerald. Its Art Deco-inspired composition took 1,500 hours to create. Even more spectacular, a bib necklace took 2,730 hours to create: a skillful blend of white and yellow gold, set with 2,500 diamonds in the iconic V, chevron, and checkerboard patterns. Three exceptional Colombian emeralds, including a central 8.88-carat stone, adorn this magnificent piece.
