Boucheron’s New Quatre Ring Captures the Sound of the Ocean

You would think that when a leading jewelry house has been making some of the finest of the finer things since 1858 – and with its signature line celebrating its 20th anniversary this year – that innovation would begin to show signs of slowing down. Not for Boucheron.

In a groundbreaking fusion of art, technology and emotion, Boucheron has unveiled its latest creation, the Quatre 5D Memory Ring. This latest innovation by the French Maison captures something as intangible as sound and preserves it for eternity, encapsulating the memory of the Atlantic Ocean within a wearable work of art.

The visionary behind this concept, Claire Choisne, Boucheron’s creative director, drew inspiration from her childhood by the sea. In her words: “Through the Quatre 5D Memory ring, I wanted to encapsulate, for billions of years, a memory of my childhood spent by the ocean. This piece proves that we have still not reached the boundaries of jewelry, and we will continue to push them, so as to fully express the strength of our creative vision.”
