With a globe-like orb and international flags looming above the runway at la Maison de L’UNESCO, Louis Vuitton presented their latest men’s collection in the heart of Paris. “Le Monde Est à Vous,” or “The World is Yours,” embraced the international legacy of the African diaspora as well as the global spirit of the maison. Creative Director Pharrell Williams transported viewers to a dynamic voyage of imagination and travel.

While the Eiffel Tower peered above the Maison de L’UNESCO rooftop runway, the show’s artistic vision instead zoomed out from the scenic city center and widened its perspective. L’UNESCO, a specialized international cultural institution, lays a fitting foundation for the maison’s international focus and Williams’ celebration of humankind.

The latest Louis Vuitton collection included artistic contributions from Air Afrique, a Paris-founded collective whose name stems from the Pan-African airline that ceased operation in 2002. The eponymous group continues the airline’s legacy, with contributing members including Lamine Diaoune, Djiby Kebe, Jeremy Konko, and Ahmadou-Bamba Thiam. With their projects like multimedia artwork and events, the collective works to uplift the creativity of the African diaspora.

The Spring/Summer 2025 collection featured a co-creation of logos from Air Afrique, alongside integrating the former airline’s archival trunk checks with a blue and green tartan pattern.
