The Chanel 25 handbag offers a fresh take on classic design, made for a more effortless way of living, modelled by Margot Robbie

There’s something about a Chanel bag that always feels timeless. But every now and then, the House introduces a piece that feels both familiar and entirely new at the same time. The Chanel 25 is exactly that a bag designed for the present while staying rooted in everything that defines Chanel.

With its soft, hobo-inspired silhouette and relaxed structure, the Chanel 25 moves away from rigid shapes and leans into something more effortless. It’s designed for everyday movement practical, easy and still unmistakably Chanel. The signature quilted leather, the interlaced chain strap and the iconic double C all remain but are reinterpreted in a way that feels lighter and more modern.

At the centre of this launch is a campaign that blends fashion with storytelling. Starring Margot Robbie and directed by Michel Gondry, the film takes inspiration from Kylie Minogue’s 2002 music video Come Into My World.

Set against the streets of Paris, the campaign feels both nostalgic and current. Margot Robbie moves through the city in a way that mirrors the looping, dream-like rhythm of the original video, creating a sense of repetition and fluidity. It’s a subtle nod to the past, reimagined through a modern lens.

What makes the campaign even more special is Kylie Minogue’s appearance herself, marking 25 years since the release of the original track. It creates a quiet connection between music, memory and fashion something Chanel has always done so well.

The Chanel 25 also introduces a new Mini format, designed for a more compact, on-the-go lifestyle. It reflects how fashion is evolving less about structure, more about ease, without losing its sense of identity. Under the creative direction of Matthieu Blazy, the Chanel 25 feels like a quiet conversation with Gabrielle Chanel one that revisits the House’s codes while adapting them for today.
