Last February, Jacquemus officially announced its upcoming entry into the beauty market through an "exclusive and long-term" partnership with the L'Oréal group. This alliance is designed to extend and diversify the fashion brand's offerings, particularly in the fragrance segment .

From the outset, the designer affirmed his desire to explore this creative territory: "Fifteen years ago, I began to dream and create Jacquemus, with fragrance and beauty as integral parts of my brand vision ," he wrote on his social media. "A perfume?! I've always dreamed of it!"

A dream now becoming a reality. In a handwritten questionnaire published by GQ France on the occasion of its ranking celebrating the most impactful male personalities of 2025, Simon Porte Jacquemus reveals the launch date of his first fragrance, expected "in 2027" .

For now, no further information has been revealed, maintaining the mystery surrounding this future fragrance. While the project's core identity remains secret, several possibilities are emerging. Originally from Provence, the creator could draw inspiration from his childhood home to define the ingredients and sensory experience of this first perfume. As for its positioning, everything is still open: a feminine scent, a masculine scent, or even a unisex formula—an approach consistent with the co-ed aesthetic favored by Jacquemus in his runway shows.
