In a promising beauty innovation market, the luxury brand is structuring its high-end aesthetics offering by partnering with a Korean company specializing in oxygen-based protocols.
Oxygen at the heart of a new Dior protocol
Pure oxygen in skincare rituals. Dior Beauty partners with the South Korean brand OxygenCeuticals to integrate two devices into several of its spas.
The first, the O2 Dior Dome , is designed to envelop the face during the application of a treatment mask in order to stimulate cellular respiration and optimize the penetration of active ingredients. Before a treatment session, the O₂ Dior Spray delivers a fine mist of oxygen using proprietary technology, supporting the skin's natural repair mechanisms before the application of products from the Capture Totale anti-aging range.
Technology, a differentiating factor in high aesthetics
This launch is part of a broader trend: according to a study published last year by the firm Kearney, demand for beautytech solutions has never been higher.
As beauty tools become an extension of the beauty ritual, three-quarters of respondents in three key markets—the United States, South Korea, and Germany—stated they had already used a technological tool in their skincare routine . However, only 40% of those surveyed spontaneously associated major brands with beauty tech. This has fueled collaborations between leading cosmetics companies and startups in the sector: in addition to OxygenCeuticals, Dior Beauty had already partnered with Lucibel to develop an anti-aging LED mask.
