Balmain Beauty launching its first luxury fragrance collection

Launched in 2022 in partnership with The Estée Lauder Companies, the Balmain Beauty brand is making its debut in the realm of high-end perfumery.

In a luxury and ultra-luxury beauty market that could double by 2027, new launches are following one another and accelerating among major fashion houses.

Following the introduction of high-end fragrance lines by Valentino, Fendi, and Rabanne, Balmain is now venturing into the niche fragrance sector with Les Éternels de Balmain.

To create this olfactory series, Olivier Rousteing, who has been leading Balmain's fashion collections since 2011, made sure to undergo specific training in perfumery. The designer was involved in every stage of the project, from concept to packaging and scent development, with a strong focus on inclusivity. "Balmain Beauty is about the freedom to express your identity and live it freely. Beauty is about being yourself and having confidence in who you are," explains the designer, who hinted at the key elements of this project last spring.
