Jacquemus is opening up to online personalization

At a time when product personalization is becoming a common demand for consumers in the luxury and high-end sectors, the fashion brand Jacquemus is currently rolling out a new digital service.

A personalization strategy initiated on social media
No formal announcement, but information slipped in during an Instagram story, Jacquemus 's platform of choice since his beginnings.

On April 13, the brand shared a photo taken in its workshop with its 6.8 million followers, celebrating the craftsmanship of Italian leather goods . The photo showed a selection of bags in the process of being made, followed by a second story featuring a cylinder press used to emboss leather, accompanied by a note in English indicating they were working on an online customization tool .

From announcement to execution: on the Jacquemus website , the Valérie leather bag and its Petit Valérie variant now come with an option to add your initials.

The service allows up to three characters to be engraved on the inside edge of the flap. Depending on the colors, different engraving finishes are offered: tone-on-tone, gold, or silver.
This offers the brand's clientele an opportunity to personalize this model, launched in the fall of 2025 as part of the "Le Paysan" collection and conceived as a tribute to Simon Porte Jacquemus's late mother. With this added personalization, the label further reinforces the sentimental and symbolic dimension attached to this creation.

For now, Jacquemus has not specified whether this service will be applied to its other bag models - Chiquito , Turismo , Bisou , Rond Carré , Bambola … - nor whether other personalization features will be deployed later to enrich the online customer journey.
