The luxury brand is renewing its presence at the Parisian Jardins Jardin event . From May 22 to 25, it will unveil a landscaped space dedicated to one of its agricultural sectors.
An immersive visit in the wake of Chanel
After rose geranium, jasmine, tuberose, camellia, orange blossom and iris pallida , it is sandalwood's turn to be favored in Chanel 's next themed garden presented as part of the 2025 edition of Jardins Jardin , dedicated to the art of landscaped gardens.
Present at the event since 2017 - first in the Jardin des Tuileries and then, since last year, in the Villa Windsor park located in the Bois de Boulogne - the House sets up an immersive space there each year, highlighting a flower used in the composition of its fragrances or cosmetic treatments. This season will mark the very first olfactory theme dedicated to a wood, in this case that of the santalum austrocaledonicum tree, whose enveloping notes can be found in several Chanel perfume references such as N°5 , Bleu and Bois des Iles (Les Exclusifs).
A landscaped and olfactory journey
For this new edition, Chanel has designed a 300m² garden. It will unveil a unique scenography, enhanced by commentary from the House's experts, which will allow visitors to decipher the different facets of the industry, which has its roots in the forested lands of New Caledonia, on the island of Maré, where the brand has been sourcing its sandalwood exclusively for the past fifteen years.
It is also an opportunity to unveil the expertise involved in transforming the "heartwood" of this exceptional raw material.
