Balenciaga names Kim Kardashian as brand ambassador

Balenciaga announced on Monday that reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian will be the brand's newest ambassador.
Over the years, Kardashian has associated with the Paris-based fashion house in numerous ways. She graced the catwalk at the Balenciaga 51st couture show; she wore custom Balenciaga at the 2021 Met Gala; attended numerous Balenciaga runway shows; and has already co-starred in several campaigns.
“For several years now, Balenciaga’s designs have been a part of my many looks – and some of my most iconic fashion moments,” said Kardashian, in a news statement.
“This historic fashion house embraces modernity, craftsmanship and takes an innovative approach to design under Demna. For me, this long-standing relationship is built on mutual trust and a commitment to doing what’s right. I’m excited about this next chapter for the brand and to become their ambassador.”
The announcement was made with a portrait captured by renowned documentary photographer, Platon.
As a Balenciaga brand ambassador, Kardashian joins other celebrities including Nicole Kidman, Michelle Yeoh, French actress Isabelle Huppert and Thai star PP Krit Amnuaydechkorn.
